In accordance with the Agreement between Organization of School Administrators and Supervisors (OSAS) and the Board of Education of the School District of the City of Detroit, the following vacancy is announced.
Position Funding:
This position is funded through Federal COVID Relief funding. The position will expire on June 30, 2023 and is not guaranteed to be funded beyond that date. Prior to the expiration of the funding, your employment with the District will be non-renewed unless you are offered a funded position for the following fiscal year.
Position Summary:
Curriculum Leaders are critical members of the Curriculum and Instruction team. Curriculum Leaders captain cross-content support teams assigned to school cohorts, ensuring these teams collaborate effectively with their assigned Assistant Superintendent and schools and align their support to school improvement plans (SIPs) and help schools maximize contributions for members of their instructional leadership teams, including Master Teachers. Curriculum Leaders support the development and implementation of school improvement plans, supervision of the instructional program, and the appraisal of staff performance.
