Position Summary:
Substitute clericals, under the direction of the school principal or other administrator or In the absence of the regular employee, is responsible assisting with the daily workloads and activities of school office or department. Substitute clericals are responsible for communicating with and providing customer service to staff, parents, students and/or outside agencies or vendors to meet district needs. Substitute clerical work in the preparation and processing of a variety of documents, invoices, orders, etc.

If you are a current Detroit Public Schools Community District employee, you do not have to submit to a new security clearance, unless your new role requires a different type of criminal background check.
