Position Title: Program Director, Summer Learning Full Day (Internal Applicants Only)

Reports to: Senior Director of Afterschool, Extended Day and Summer Programs

Position Summary
Directly oversee summer school, facilitate development, implementation and advancement of curricular, instructional and personnel functions of summer school in effort to continually improve student performance. On-site administration for operation of school programs, personnel, and facilities. Assigns summer school personnel. Supervises summer school staff members. Observes the in-class performance of summer school teachers and confers/consults with them regarding student development and progress.

Mandatory Summer Program Director Training DATES: TBD
Mandatory Summer School Professional Development 3-day Training DATES: July 5, 2022 – July 7, 2022
Summer School Programs will begin Monday, July 11, 2022, and end Thursday, August 4, 2022
Dates:
July 11th - August 4th (Monday - Thursday) Reporting Dates for Students (16 days)
Hours:
Student hours (Academics): 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Student hours (Enrichment): 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Student hours (Extended Enrichment): 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Teacher hours: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm (5 hours)
Director Work Day:
Summer Learning & Summer Enrichment Activities (Full Day Session) 7:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday
