Job Title: Chief Public Affairs Officer

The Chief Public Affairs Officer is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to leverage marketing, government relations, internal communications, and broad community engagement to fulfill the mission and vision of Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD). The Chief Public Affairs Officer directs the day to day marketing and government relations activities through full time and contracted staff. The Chief Public Affairs Officer is responsible for monitoring the pulse of the community as it relates to their perceptions of DPSCD and working proactively to ensure critical information, initiatives, and programs are understood by stakeholders.
