Position Title: Substitute Clerical
Location: Various Schools/Administrative Offices
Reports to: Principal/Administrator/Designee

In accordance with the Agreement between the Detroit Association of Educational Office Employees (DAEOE) and the Detroit Public Schools Community District, the following vacancy is announced:
The substitute clerical, under the direction of the school principal or other administrator or In the absence of the regular employee, is responsible assisting with the daily workloads and activities of school office or department. Substitute clerical is responsible for communicating with and providing customer service to staff, parents, students and/or outside agencies or vendors to meet district needs. Substitute clerical work in the preparation and processing of a variety of documents, invoices, orders, etc.
If you are a current Detroit Public Schools Community District employee, you do not have to submit to a new security clearance, unless your new role requires a different type of criminal background check.
In alignment with Michigan law, if you are hired to fill a position, you will be required to submit to a Detroit Public Schools Community District criminal background check. Information regarding required background checks will be shared at point of hire.
