In accordance with the Agreement between the Teamsters Local 214 and the School District of the City of Detroit the following vacancy is announced.
Position Summary
Detroit Public Schools Community District owns and operates a 218,900 square foot warehouse facility that stores furniture, curricular materials, commercial kitchen equipment and other student instructional tools. We are currently looking to fill the position of Warehouse Logistics Operator to handle daily operations of this facility, including freight, receiving, returns and transfers. This facility also handles the District’s inter-office mail delivery to its schools and administrative offices.
The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations and provide responsive and efficient customer service to within our District.

If you are a current Detroit Public Schools Community District employee, you do not have to submit to a new security clearance, unless your new role requires a different type of criminal background check.
