Position Summary:
As a key member of the Division of Knowledge Management, the Program Supervisor of Knowledge Management supports the district-wide knowledge management initiatives, fostering learning, communication, and collaboration across all divisions. This role is pivotal in executing a comprehensive knowledge management strategy, enhancing organizational learning, and ensuring alignment with strategic district priorities. The Program Supervisor will support management of the district's internal communication structures, including SharePoint and other intranet tools, facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization, and promote best practices for engaging internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years of professional experience in designing and implementing websites, web applications, or enterprise knowledge management initiatives.
At least 3 years of experience coordinating large projects and initiatives across teams, fostering collaboration, and supporting a positive team culture.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools for enterprise collaboration, including SharePoint Framework, Team Sites, Communication Sites, and Hub Sites.
Experience in user experience design, content management systems (e.g., Blackboard, Finalsite, and other education-specific CMSs), and information architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Previous experience in a large school district or similar public sector organization.
Familiarity with best practices in information taxonomy and enterprise-level content management strategies.
Experience managing or coordinating cross-functional projects involving knowledge sharing and communication strategies.
Skills:
Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Able to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner to diverse audiences.
Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, Teams, and related tools for collaboration and document management. Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), user interface design, and enterprise content management tools, particularly for educational environments.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Capable of coordinating large-scale projects across various teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Collaboration and Leadership: Ability to foster positive relationships, facilitate collaborative efforts, and lead teams to achieve shared objectives. Experience supporting staff development through coaching, training, and mentorship.
Essential Functions:
Oversee and manage internal communication resources, ensuring these platforms are aligned with district branding and are informative, accessible, and user-friendly for all stakeholders.
Coordinate and support identified Hub managers within offices, departments, teams, and schools, to build capabilities and ensure consistent, high-quality internal communication.
Support central office staff in using Office 365 to effectively collaborate and share knowledge, enabling them to stay informed, share best practices, and perform their roles effectively. Thiseffort not only ensures alignment with district-wide goals but also empowers staff to do their best work.
Develop and implement strategies for enhanced internal knowledge management that promote active collaboration, codifies organizational knowledge, and connects staff and students
Plan and implement in-person or virtual training sessions, create case studies, blog posts, or initiate cross-team learning events to build a culture of shared learning.
Collect and analyze data on intranet usage and broader knowledge management efforts to identify strengths and areas of improvement. Evolve content and platforms based on insights.
Demonstrate an effective approach to team building, ensuring clarity of purpose and soliciting diverse perspectives to achieve shared objectives.
Stay informed of trends and innovations in knowledge management, web and intranet technologies, and education policies. Apply this knowledge to keep district resources up-to-date and effective in meeting organizational needs.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Director, Knowledge Management.
Support district-wide initiatives related to strategic planning and stakeholder engagement, ensuring the alignment of knowledge management practices with broader district objectives.
